Research companies are working with the EPA and the automobile industry to create the long lasting fuel alternatives that we are all going to need for the far future.

Alternative fuels are not being used only the in cars and trucks that we drive, but also in the machinery that is being used in many other areas of the world. Electricity and batteries are going to be produced and used in farming equipment, in mowers, tractors, golf cars, scooter, on bike, motorcycles and so much more. Electric planes may be a little further off yet, but the alternative research is continuing in this area as well.
